This weekend, at the Green Man festival, Samantha Morton will join Guardian writer Kate Hutchinson. They will talk about her career, which includes acting, directing, and music.

Samantha Morton is one of Britain's most recognisable actors. She has been nominated for an Oscar for her roles in Sweet and Lowdown and In America. Other notable performances include Morvern Callar, The Serpent Queen, and her most recent part as Circe in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. Morton also directed her first film, The Unloved, which won a Bafta for best single drama. In 2024, she released a very personal album called Daffodils & Dirt with producer Richard Russell. She made this album under the name Sam Morton.
